Cheval Blanc Paris Celebrated Its One Year Anniversary

The first urban hotel of the collection of LVMH Hotel Management celebrated its one year anniversary on September 7th. A day of celebration. In the suites, horse and heart balloons were floating among chocolates and Cheval Blanc gifts while the Seine was flowing through their large bay windows. Cheval Blanc Paris offers handcrafted interiors, panoramic views of the Seine, an exceptional collection of arts, a variety of culinary experiences and an incredible Dior Spa. The private wellness club – there are only 75 members – is one of the most enviable in the city.

Cheval Blanc Paris is all about uncompromising excellence: all the rooms have spectacular views and the same attention to detail.” pointed out Éric Fratty, Director of Design and Construction at Cheval Blanc. The palace has been designed entirely by New York acclaimed Architect Peter Marino. Now part of the Parisian landscape, Cheval Blanc Paris is not only loved by its guests but also by locals. After years at Cheval Blanc Courchevel, now in Paris, General Manager Wilfried Morandini knows how to work on creating the Cheval Blanc atmosphere.

If Paris is the capital of fine dining, Cheval Blanc Paris is the temple of culinary arts. The various restaurants are orchestrated by Chef Arnaud Donckele and Pastry Chef Maxime Frédéric. While you need to be patient to get into Plenitude, the 3 starred restaurant, on the first floor, you can enjoy the brasserie Le Tout Paris on the 7th floor and its view over Paris. The atmosphere is jovial, the decor is so luminous with its red, yellow and blue colors. On the menu: grilled lobster, roasted chicken, steamed sole along with cassolettes of mashed potatoes or vegetables and of course French fries. It’s definitely excellent.

At the Parisian palace, the guests are more than pampered. A dedicated butler assists you in making your stay unforgettable. Confidence, wellbeing and appropriate attention. From unpacking your luggage when you arrive, organizing an intimate dinner in your suite with the room service menu -chicly named Carte Blanche- to shoe shining with Berluti products or picking the right pillow to sleep, your “majordome” fulfills all your wishes. They will know before you arrive what your needs are to make you feel comfortable.

The art of hospitality is the DNA of Cheval Blanc, and above all the creation of rituals. The epitome, the ritual of the bath every night, drawn at the right temperature, with lit candles ready when you are back. The butler creates a tailor made stay depending on each guest, always with discretion.

Designed like private homes, the intimate palace counts 72 rooms and suites. Inside the amenities are infinite and carefully thought. For example, in the bathroom, all needs have been anticipated. The Cheval Blanc Paris beauty products in their magnificent Art Deco bottles, inspired by the iconic building are just divine: shampoos, masks by Leonor Greyl, bath salts, alum stones, hair clips, lip balm and a woody and powdery Parisian Chic fragrance specially created by French perfumer Francois Demachy.

Cheval Blanc properties always keep families in mind by creating entertainment areas with a wide range of activities for children up to 12 years old. Like the Carrousel in Cheval Blanc Randheli, in the Maldives, the Carrousel in Paris opens to the world of nature and its need for preservation. French Explorer Maud Fontenoy- who was the first woman to sail the south Pacific- helped the team through her foundation to dive into the world’s oceans by creating a fabulous decor, bringing awareness among kids to the urgent need to protect them.

Cheval Blanc Paris will open its door during LVMH’s Les Journées Particulières which will run from October 14th to the 16th. The first urban haven by Cheval Blanc will demonstrate the French Art of hospitality in the iconic Art Deco building.
