Ibiza is most definitely the word, and it’s the place to be, not least since El Silencio joined the scene.
A destination for cultured partygoers and creatives alike, this Ibizan beach house from infamous Parisian brand Silencio has it all — beach, check, art, check, architecture, check, fashion, check, and Michelin star food, check. Now that’s a heady combination that’s just asking for fun.
Located on the west of the island, overlooking the seafront of Cala Moli, it’s an area known for its coves, its sunsets, and being close to Sa Talaia, Ibiza’s tallest mountain, it’s beautiful wherever you look.
And, lucky for us, the establishment is reopening this month (it debuted last summer) with an exciting lineup of creatives involved. Cue an immersive art installation from Brazilian artist, Samuel de Saboia entitled, Dreamland. Known for his large-scale mixed-media paintings, he’s brought these to the White Isle, along with his signature approach, and in keeping with the spirit of the island, it’s all about creating places of joy, contemplation, and dreams.
“When you create something that comes from the heart, a part of you has to be infused and taken from you on the process. It’s a playground, a place of experiment, alchemy. The colors are the pathway to travel, to show emotions. It has been a fantastic experience of connecting my creative and spiritual process, a maison that I respect and love and this magical place. Interestingly, this installation will also play host to El Silencio’s latest restaurant by revered Michelin star French chef, Guillaume Sanchez (Owner and Founder of NESO, Paris).

The contemporary pop-up restaurant, El Silencio Inside, will feature a line-up of world-renowned French chefs, curated by Guillaume, and they’ll take up residency for week-long rotations over the summer. Kicking it off will be Guillaume from 16-30 June, followed by Yannick Alleno, Thibault Sombardier, Les Enfants du Marché, Bruno Verjus, and lastly Julien Sebbag to close.
“How to preserve the philosophy of my projects while transporting it to Ibiza? This is the ambition of the El Silencio Inside project. Successfully contributing to the rural energy of this island, its products, and its habits. The restaurant will serve a daily tasting menu with seasonality and its territory at its heart. For this project, I sought to keep myself surrounded by certain culinary personalities that embody the age and cuisine of France. If that wasn’t enough stimulation for the eyes and tastebuds, El Silencio will be partnering with fashion brand, Nanuska to bring guests the Nanushka Sun Series. Here, there will be a wellness pavilion designed by English architect, Charlotte Taylor and it’ll offer a whole host of workshops, ceremonies, and musical performances, all curated by Nanushka and wellbeing guru Christopher Connors.
And of course, Ibiza wouldn’t be Ibiza without an impressive amalgamation of world-renowned DJs and club nights such as Monday nights courtesy of CHA CHÁ The Club Madrid, LunArts, Wolfram Amadeus and Kompak, Jaime Fiorito, Stephane Ashpool, Cuts & Wines, as well as Pascal Moscheni and Simone de Kunovich to see you through the week.
