From August 29 through September 11, the 2022 US Open Tennis Championships will take the court at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows—Corona Park in Queens.
In timing with this major sporting event, some New York City hotels are offering special packages or promotions.
The “Play Like A Pro” package will offer VIP private helicopter transportation which includes both a Blade flight and private car service.
This package starts with a one-night stay at any room type that must be booked between August 25 to September 11, 2022. A Blade helicopter round trip flight will transfer guests between Equinox Hotel New York and the tournament.
The transfer will also include private car transportation from the hotel to the Blade helipad on the West Side Highway and from LaGuardia Airport to the player entrance of the tournament venue in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park.
The “Play Like A Pro” package will also provide complimentary value parking only for one vehicle and a $100 food and beverage credit per stay. The package starts at $4,195 plus tax.
The Crowne Plaza HY36 has created a US Open promotion for their guests, based upon their proximity to Penn Station. The Midtown Manhattan property is about a five-minute walk to and from the station.
Their promotion includes two round-trip Long Island Railroad (LIRR) tickets to the Mets-Willets Point station and two pre-game cocktails at Burgerology, the hotel’s on-site restaurant.
For a limited time only at Burgerology, guests and restaurant patrons Burgerology’s US Open Cocktail, which was inspired by Grey Goose’s signature drink, Honey Deuce.
As an IHG Hotels brand, and an official partner of the US Open, Crowne Plaza HY36 will also have Instagrammable tennis-themed installations throughout the property. These planned fixtures will extend to a tennis-ball inspired egg chair and a tennis ball mobile.
The Peninsula New York has gone over the top with a US Open package that sounds like a major tennis fan’s dream come true.
For guests, the luxe hotel’s “US Open VIP” will offer two courtside seat tickets (for the full tournament) at Arthur Ashe Stadium, autographed memorabilia from a former US Open Champion, an exclusive cocktail reception with a US Open tennis player, transportation to and from the matches, and a stay in The Peninsula Suite. Daily breakfast for two guests is also included.

Queens, the NYC borough where the tournament takes place, also offers some hotel options.
