The 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show Returns From October 26 To 30
The 63rd edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), the world’s largest in-water boat show, is set to take place in seven venues, including the Broward County Convention Center, Bahia Mar Yachting Center and Las Olas Marina. From October 26 to 30, guests can expect highly anticipated debuts, superyacht exhibits, kids fishing clinics, educational marine seminars and plenty of gourmet dining.
“Last year’s boat show was an absolute blockbuster event, generating over $1 billion in economic output for the state of Florida and attracting over 100,000 attendees,” shared Andrew Doole, President of U.S. Boat Shows at Informa Markets, which produces the FLIBS, in a release. “Year after year, FLIBS has raised the bar for the marine industry, and we cannot wait to welcome back our incredible community to the 2022 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.”
This year will highlight anticipated debuts from Axopar Boats, Northstar Boats, MJM Yachts, Lekker Boats, Islamorada Boatworks, Schaefer Yachts and Invincible Boats.
The Convention Center will be the main venue this year. Asides from all the products and activations what will be on display, it will also offer over 3,000 parking spots available (at a flat rate of $20 per day). Guests will also have access to and from all seven show locations via shuttle and water taxi services from here.
Activations to look forward this year include: Attractions Superyacht Village, which will showcase top superyachts, personal submarines and collectible automotive items; Windward VIP Club, which will offer gourmet food options and premium open bar tastings; Culinary Experience, for a selection of over 100 food concessions and satellite bars—including complimentary wine tastings; The AquaZone by Nautical Ventures, a live action exhibition to experience the latest in-water sports and marine products; Marine and Electronics Tent, which will display the latest in all boating and marine products; Educational Seminars on topics ranging from conservation and sustainability to fishing techniques and best practices on the water; and the Kids’ Corner, for family-friendly activities like fishing clinics, face painting and marine arts and crafts.
