These Miami Hotels, Restaurants And Bars Are Celebrating Pride Month And Donating To Local Non-Profits

June is LGBTQ+ Pride Month, when lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer come together to celebrate, uplift and advocate for their rights and voices, taking its roots from the Stonewall uprising in June 1969.

Miami is not short of celebrations, and this year, a number of hotels, restaurants and bars are, in addition, donating to local non-profit organizations that further support, educate and empower South Florida’s LGBTQ+ community.

Here’s a list of places where you can celebrate and support:

1 Hotel South Beach

For each order of this month’s featured cocktail, 1 Love, made with Absolute Elyx, lychee, Lillet Rouge, Flor Rosé prosseco and St. Germain Elderflower— 25% of proceeds will be donated to Miami Beach Pride. It is available at all of the hotel’s F&B outlets: Drift, Watr, Habitat, Beach Club and Sandbox.

Additionally, for all room stays during the month, a $10 donation per stay will also go towards the organization. Upon check-in, hotel guests will receive a “Love is Love” wristband.

80’s 305 Bar at Cafe La Trova

The sole Miami bar on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2022 list, Cafe La Trova’s back bar, 80’s 305 Bar, will feature two special cocktails with 100% of the proceeds going towards Pridelines. The Mariquitas features Grey Goose vodka, Licor 43, lime juice, and cranberry juice, served with a side of banana chips, mariquitas de plátano. Pink and Bubbly is a Bombay Sapphire gin-based cocktail with guava syrup and lime juice, topped with prosecco. 80’s 305 Bar is open Friday and Saturday nights, beginning at midnight.

National Hotel Miami Beach

National Hotel on Miami Beach has partnered with Quore Gelato for a special gelato flavor made with passion fruit, dragon fruit and tequila, available poolside, with part of the proceeds to benefit SAVE.

Pubbelly Sushi

For the month of June, for every order of Pubbelly’s Passion Fruit Sangria, made with sauvignon blanc, fresh lime juice, passion fruit foam, club soda, and seasonal fruits, part of the proceeds will be donated to SAVE. The cocktail is available at all locations: Aventura Mall, Brickell City Centre, Downtown Dadeland and Miami Beach.

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila

For the entire month of June, Bodega Taqueria y Tequila will be donating a percentage of proceeds from all Bodega app and website orders to SAVE. This is valid at all Bodega is locations: Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, South Beach and West Palm Beach.

Tanuki

Pan-Asian eatery Tanuki is celebrating Pride Month with a special Sakura cocktail, made with Corazon Blanco tequila, cranberry juice, lime juice, Seedlip, muddled watermelon, and topped fresh watermelon slices. Part of the proceeds will be donated to SAVE.
