This Dreamy Spanish Resort Has Sleep Coaches To Help You Catch Your ZZZs

In today’s fast-paced world, many of us use time off to catch up on much-needed rest. If spending your vacation in the land of nod sounds like a dream come true, then Puente Romano in Marbella has you covered.

A perfect night’s sleep

With studies reporting that 30% of people worldwide suffer from sleep disorders, Puente Romano Beach Resort has teamed up with Spanish sleep specialists HOGO—inviting guests to experience a perfect night’s sleep.

HOGO has developed a state-of-the-art resting system designed to protect against electromagnetic pollution and improve health. The Spanish company’s philosophy is founded on the premise that sleeping is one of the easiest ways to look after ourselves. Backed by more than 30 years of scientific research and clinical studies, HOGO has created a system intended to allow the body to regenerate naturally during sleep. This is believed to lead to reduced biological age, lower basal levels of cortisol—the stress hormone—increased production of melatonin and improved blood circulation.

The “Miami of Spain”

Located just 45 minutes from Malaga Airport, the Puente Romano Beach Resort is idyllically situated on the beachfront of the Costa del Sol’s “Golden Mile” between Marbella and Puerto Banús.

Dubbed the “Miami of Spain”, this sun-drenched stretch of the Spanish Mediterranean coastline has long been favored by the European and global jet set. Some come to party, while others take the opportunity to unwind at one of the ultra-exclusive resorts that line the waterfront.

Puente Romano

Designed as an Andalusian village-style resort, Puente Romano is made up of 180 spacious suites spread across a series of three-story villas surrounded by lush subtropical gardens and waterfalls.

Other features of the 600,000 square-foot resort include 12 restaurants with food from all over the world, mainland Spain’s only Six Senses Spa, with a hydrotherapy pool, cold plunge pool, herbal steam room, sauna and Hamman, as well as a range of fitness and wellness activities—from tennis, to golf, horse-riding, paddle boarding, swimming, yoga and Pilates.

The HOGO resting system

This year, the Puente Romano experience is even dreamier, as the resort’s exclusive Villa La Pereza has been transformed into a haven of relaxation for a personalized experience designed by HOGO. The villa, which enjoys an enviable location within palm tree-filled gardens just steps away from the seafront, has four bedrooms, its own heated pool, solarium, fitness equipment, terrace and lounge.

Guests can enjoy a sophisticated sleep on a HOGO resting system, a consultation with a professional HOGO sleep coach, and access to an in-room sleep series, as well as special massages and meals designed to promote a better night’s sleep.

Customizable sleep experience

All the HOGO resting system bases in Villa La Pereza are customizable and can be regulated according to weight and the spinal curve. The slats are adjusted according to the ergonomics of a person’s back. Made from coconut fibre and 100% natural materials, the resting system features a graphite and silver mesh that is connected to the ground and helps the body to eliminate electromagnetic pollution—all in search of those all-important ZZZs.
